THE DOMAINE DES CABANES GRANDS CÉPAGES

  • Fishing: With its two bodies of water, Lac de la Lionne is a paradise for fishermen.
  • The pool: find our unheated swimming pool at the edge of the vineyards, for sunbathing or a dip (open from May to September from 10:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.).
  • Petanque: For everyone's enjoyment, a petanque court allows you to know if you are pointing or shooting!
  • Bicycle: we offer bikes for rent (€10 for half a day, €18 for a day).
  • Yoga: our cabins welcome yoga mats to complete your wellness getaway.
  • Other activities: petanque balls, Molki, Board games... do not hesitate to ask for them at the reception.

The domain is open to walkers from outside (except in summer), provided that the calm of nature is respected.

WINE TOURISM & EPICUREAN STROLL

  • Embark on our brand new complete gourmet experience: the Epicurean stroll! It includes the visit of 3 gourmet partners. All the information can be found here (in “Others”).
  • Clos du Calvaire : Located near the prestigious village of Châteauneuf du Pape, the family estate Le Clos du Calvaire has been perpetuated for five generations. Founded in 1923, its historic cuvée gives its name to the estate. Respectful of living beings and the ecosystem, the vineyard is cultivated using organic agriculture and agroecology.

  • Brotte Wine Museum : Discover the Brotte Wine Museum in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, founded in 1972 by Jeanne Brotte. The Brotte family, guardian of know-how since 1931, shares her passion and her secrets. The sommeliers will welcome you for a tasting and a visit revealing the mysteries of vines, wine and family history.

AVIGNON AND ITS UNIQUE ARCHITECTURAL ENSEMBLE CLASSIFIED BY UNESCO

Avignon is a real jewel of Provençal heritage. Famous for its Palais des Papes, a majestic medieval fortress, and the Saint-Bénézet Bridge, immortalized by the song, the city is a real architectural treasure. Stroll through its cobbled streets, discover its charming squares and enjoy its renowned festivals, including the Avignon Festival, a theater mecca. With its numerous museums, churches and Provençal markets, Avignon offers a rich and unforgettable experience.

Aqueduct classified by Unesco, the Pont du Gard is an ancient monument that remains one of the great masterpieces of mankind. NATURE WALKS

  • On foot or by bike : Discover the island of Oiselay 4km from the huts, an exceptional site that is part of the network Natura 2000 with the three trails that are proposed there. From a distance of 2 to 30 km, walkers and athletes alike will find what they are looking for.
  • In a horse-drawn carriage : (Re) discover Courthézon, its castle and the Châteauneuf du Pape vineyard with Vincent and the Mistral “Cavalino Mistrau” horses. Choose from the 3 tours to choose from, for an original group adventure (5 people maximum). Information and prices.

FONTAINE DU VAUCLUSE

Located in the heart of the Monts de Vaucluse and the Pays des Sorgues, the most beautiful river in the department, La Sorgue, has its source at the Fontaine de Vaucluse. It springs up at the foot of a 230m steep cliff, in the hollow of a closed valley that gave its name in 1793 to the Department of Vaucluse.
